 We moved into our townhouse 8 months ago. We had to call the gas company 2 times because we kept smelling gas  when we turned on our fireplace. We had one place come and clean the fireplace. He said he fixed it. We turned it on,  and we smelled gas again!! We called Fireplace Doctor and Mike came right out! He knew right away where to look!  He found the leek in the basement, in a closet, behind the drywall!!!! There were 2 leeks! The work Mike did was so  fantastic! He really knows what he is doing. His prices are so cheep! He is a blessing. I would recommend Mike to  EVERYONE!!!! He saved our lives! I give him 10 stars!!!!

 Mike professionalism and honesty is outstanding. Mike gave me an over the phone quote for my gas fire which wasn't  starting. Mike arrived at the appointment time and discovered the problem within a few minutes of inspecting the fire.  The price turned out to be much cheaper than quoted because no replacement parts where required.  I was having problems with my gas fireplace shutting off randomly. As you can imagine, it was incredibly frustrating. I had a previous  company come out 3 times over a two year period that could not diagnose the problem. Mike came out and not only immediately  diagnosed the problem, he explained in layman's terms what the problem was, what it would cost (which was more than fair), and  what needed to be done.  Was looking into a fireplace company to help me solve a mouse problem we had under our fireplace and was  suggested to look into them. After a quick search I found a ton of bad reviews on yelp and ripoff reports about "the  fireplace doctor" upon further research found out that they are two different companies entirely, one being local, the  other a national company that apparently has been on the news for ripping people off. I'm glad I looked into it further,  they gave me the best price, and the most thorough and well thought out solution to my problem. He was able to come  same week to do work, showed up on time, and explained to me everything he was doing and why. He was friendly  and seemed more than competent and thorough to give me confidence in his work. Would definitely recommend
